“Big Box” Store
Thinking Outside the “Big Box”
Out of a desire to improve pedestrian safety at “Big Box” stores, we developed conceptual plans to address this as one of our initial projects. This innovative idea was presented to Meijer Corporation and conceptually applied to their new store recently completed at 28th Street and Kalamazoo Ave. in Grand Rapids.
Residential Water Feature
Landscape Design Build
We were contacted by a homeowner desiring to enhance their home, reduce lawn maintenance, and enjoy water in their own backyard. This was accomplished through the design and installation of a pond-less water feature, including outcropping stonework, flagstone walks and patios.
Bear Lake Residence
Residential landscape planning project completed as a part of a home addition and remodel. The home is located on Bear Lake in North Muskegon and included a custom water feature and stone lighting, sculpture, ledgestone retaining walls, pool patio, and an artificial turf golf green.
Park and Trail System
Site & Landscape Planning
The City of Portage desired to improve the habitat and quality of Portage Creek. This was accomplished through the creation of multiple sediment basins with native plant materials which collect and filter runoff and pollutants from the nearby Crossroads Mall. Also included in the project were a water feature/ice rink and a network of trails and overlooks.
